Must complete Basic Tactical Shotgun before registering. if you feel you should be exempt from this requirement, please email us. A tactical shotgun or “combat shotgun” is typically a light weight, short barrel, semi-auto or pump shotgun with a large magazine capacity. A very popular example of a one is the Benelli M4. This 4-hour course is designed to enhance your ability in effectively defending yourself and others using a tactical shotgun and is done entirely on the range. This is an excellent choice for law enforcement and civilians alike, as these courses will prepare you for a wide range of possible defensive situations. We provide 20 & 12 gauge birdshot and tactical shotguns. If you have your own tactical shotgun and like to bring it, please feel free to do so! Just make sure it has a smoothbore barrel so it can safely shoot birdshot and if its a semiautomatic please ensure you have taken it through the "break in period" of at least 200 shots using high brass ammunition.
